Our eyes are very good at perceiving consistent color under a variety of different light sources but our digital cameras often fail to capture images that match the way that we see the colors of the world. Our photographs exhibit unnatural blue, yellow, purple, or greenish color casts when the White Balance is incorrect.

White Balance corrections in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic are controlled by the Temperature and the Tint sliders. We can remove distracting color problems using these two sliders, plus a few other tools, and we can also use these controls to create a more expressive mood in our photographs.
