Lots of novice Lightroom Classic users turn to Develop Presets with the hope that someone else’s settings will make their images come alive. Unfortunately, this hope has created an entire industry that profits from selling so called “magic Lightroom image enhancement formulas.” Even some of my most respected colleagues have found a way to cash in on the myth that their Develop Presets are special and worthy of your hard earned dollars.
I am not going to try to sell you anything today. Rather than fleecing you with snake oil, I want to show you what a Develop Preset really is in this program and then in the next videos in this series I will teach you how easy it is to create your own!
