There are two reasons why Presets should interest those who are looking to speed up their Lightroom image editing workflow. First, Presets offer a quick and easy way to give an image a particular look or style in Lightroom. Using a Preset can help you to apply your favorite stylistic changes to one image after another with minimal effort.
Second, Presets can help us to automate repetitive parts of our Adobe Lightroom (Cloud-Based) image processing routines. Using Presets in this way can save us from having to push the same buttons over and over again to do things like remove chromatic aberration or activate Lightroom’s lens correction algorithms.
In the first part of this video, you will learn how Presets work in Adobe Lightroom and how to make your own. Although making your own Presets is super easy, I will also teach you how to import Presets that others have made for you. Finally at the end of this tutorial, I will show you a trick that might help if you are having trouble importing presets that you downloaded from a website like the Adobe Exchange into your Lightroom library.
