If your goal is to move everything that you can from the Apple Photos App into Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic then this video tutorial is for you. In this video, you will learn how to migrate all of your images from the Apple Photos App over to the Cloud-Based version of Adobe Lightroom first and then how to drop them all into Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic.
I covered four ways that you can use to move a copy of your images from the Apple Photos App over to Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic in a previous lesson. All of the methods that I covered in the last video are useful but none of them will help you to migrate certain features like Albums over from the Apple Photos App to Lightroom Classic.
Before you get started, I must warn you that there are a lot of steps involved in this process. The Adobe cloud-sync migration method that I demonstrate in this tutorial is only recommended for those who are looking to copy everything that you possibly can from Apple Photos over to Lightroom Classic.
Let me also warn you that you need to follow all of the steps in this video from start to finish. If you skip a step, or stop halfway, then you will not succeed here.
Finally, please be aware that this migration from Apple Photos to Adobe Lightroom Classic method requires a solid internet connection. If you have a large Apple Photos library, or a slow internet connection, then this technique might take a very long time to complete.
This tutorial is for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic users only. Please click here if you are looking for step-by-step instructions on how to migrate a copy of all your images from Apple Photos to Adobe Lightroom (Cloud-Based) instead.
